CONDITIONS Minimum age of driver is 21 years old for mini cars and economy cars, higher vehicle categories require an age 23 years with driver’s license held for at least 12 months. The first day of the rental indicates the period of the charge. Rental days are based on a 24-hour basis but we allow up to 3 hours delay in return time without calculating an extra day. If prebooked reservations are cancelled days prior the arrival all your deposit will be paid back, but for cancellations 5days or less prior to arrival the deposit will be not refunded. Cancellations –Amendments after the starting of the rental will be handled locally on your destinations. No refunds will be made for no-shows at destination or failure to produce relevant documents including driving license, early returns or cancellations after the hire start date. There are no refunds for any unused days. Vehicles must be returned to the renting city. No one-way rentals are allowed unless different arrangements have been made, confirmed and mentioned in the voucher. Rental Agreements for renting vehicles are composed in Greek and English language, where all conditions of rental and emergency telephone or fax numbers are mentioned. Car models are according to original planning. Delivery problems however, may compel us to supply another vehicle in exceptional cases. "CAR RENTALS IN GREECE" appoints the TOUR OPERATOR as its agent for the sale of car hire rental to its clients. Rates are guaranteed in Euro (€). In case of any unusual alteration of market conditions (substantial increase of insurance costs, change of V.A.T. factor, change of local or airport tax ... etc.), rates are to be adjusted accordingly. All other conditions are as per «GENERAL CONDITIONS OF RENTAL» of "CAR RENTALS IN GREECE" national brochure. EXTRA CHARGES Deliveries & Collections during office hours (07:30-21:30) are free of charge to "CAR RENTALS IN GREECE" offices, ports, airports and city hotels. In case of suburban hotels and out of town locations, "CAR RENTALS IN GREECE" will apply an extra charge indicated in the price-list. Night deliveries and/or collections (office hours 08:00-21:00 daily, on yearly basis), are charged from 21:30 -07:30 hours according to the price – list.. Car deposit details / Credit Card Policy: Deposit for estimated extra charges and fuel deposits (see below) are required at the beginning of the rental. For this reason it is required that all clients provide "CAR RENTALS IN GREECE" with personal credit card details. Petrol is not included. All vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel as upon delivery. Any difference arising will be charged. Additional driver’s charge is according to the price - list. Baby seats, snow chains and roof racks are available according the price - list. (Please note that clients are liable for damages which may occur to the vehicle due to the use of roof racks) All traffic fines incurred during the rental period are at the renter’s responsibility. INSURANCE POLICY Collision Damage Waiver (C.D.W.): The renter’s responsibility for damages to "CAR RENTALS IN GREECE" vehicles has a limit of 300,00€ , provided that collision (or fire damages) are not due to the violation of any of the provisions of the Greek Traffic Law and the parameters of the rental agreement. The renter covers expenses for possible replacement of the damaged vehicle in the place of accident. Full Damage Waiver (F.D.W.). The renter’s responsibility for the amount of 300,00€ can be waived with an additional charge according the price - list . Please note that the C.D.W or the F.D.W does not cover damages to the wheels, tires, and interior of the car and underside chassis in any case. Theft Protection Insurance (T.P.): Included, according to the conditions of our rental agreement. T.P. is not valid if the car keys are not given back to "CAR RENTALS IN GREECE" or if the car has been left open. Any loss of goods after a theft is not covered. Wheels, Underside and Glass Protection: Available with an extra charge according the price - list Personal Accident Insurance (P.A.I.): IIt is an optional insurance charged according the price - list covering the driver under terms & conditions mentioned in our official brochure of each year.. |
